La Sultane treatments are more about offering pure relaxation, opulence & luxury rather than a traditional analytical skincare approach. The environment, music and fragrances are as important as the treatments themselves. In our Spa’s you will find copper bowls of floating rose petals, flickering candles under delicate clay covers and tajine bowls of fragranced butters and oils being warmed ready for treatments. We also offer all our clients a traditional mint tea and a sweet Moroccan pastry upon arrival. Steam is used as standard in Morocco for most treatments to warm the body and prepare the skin, if you do not have a steam room, facial steamers can be used and the room must be warm. The closer the shower to the treatment room the better, and if you have a wet treatment room you will find it even easier to follow La Sultane’s treatments. This will ensure you get the most out of our products. The steam room phases can be replaced using the facial steamer in the treatment room and using hot showers.

- The hammam

The hammam is a water steam bath where heat and intense dampness are combined.
It is the perfect preparation for a damp massage on a heated stone bench.
It enables the body to get rid of toxins by making the skin relaxed, dilating the skin pores, The warmth and well bring feelings are immediate.
It is a true relaxing moment to enjoy alone with friends

- Exfoliation

The second necessary step is the association of true eucalyptus (savon noir) La Sultan de Saba (with strong emollient power) and kessa glove rubbing ( traditional moroccan goat wool glove with a granular texture); dead skin cells are totally eliminated.
You can undergo this care in the booth or preferably in the hammam as the skin reacts better there, the best used in 3 or 4 days before depilation.
- put a small knob of (savon noir} on the kessa glove, apply it to wet skin, Rub and foamed the soap
- The skin starts peeling
- The dead skin cells are being eliminated.
- Rins thoroughly at the end.

   
- Massage Care

Then, comes the massage with natural essences oil given through a beneificial rythm, relieves tensions and gets ride of toxins,
This is the most relaxing part of the care, it can be undergone in the hammam on a heated stone bench, on a fulton or in a booth on a standard massage table.
You may choose your care between:
-Oriental massage with orange blossom oil.
- Ayurvedic Indian with warm oil and shea butter.
- Massage with syrian mats, kind of weaved fibers which speed up blood circulation.
- Massage with pebbles, Shea butter and rose.
   
- Wrapping

The last step which perfects the care: wrapping. The body is covered with rassoul, honey and shea butter whose mixture associated with the oil you choose has draining, relaxing, tonifing or slimming virtues. Wrapped in film which reiforces the active parts of the mixture, the body is regaining softness and vitality
(The wrapping can also be under gone on a heated stone bench in the hammam)
- Face Care

 

So as to offer the best ingredients La Sultan de Saba suggests a face care in 3 steps (each step can be taken separately)
1- La Sultan de Saba care: whose principle is the deep cleaning of the skin. The dead skin cells are eliminated blackheads extracted. The skin is perfectly purified. This care is preparing the face to active principles which will go deeper more efficiently.
2- Specific care with an Indian bow and rose: after applying two masks, one to moisturize and the other to restructure, the face is then massaged with an Indian copper bowl. This warms the skin and speeds up circulation.
3- Care with honey and prickly pear syrian mats: it completes and ends the care by regenerating the skin and endowing anti-wrinkle virtues.
   
Oriental Depilation - with Honey

This type is optimal. It allows a more slower hair growth . It is an ancestral recipe used since Cleopatra, whose secret lies in the correct mixture of ingredients (sugar and lemon)
Soft and easy to work the paste is used cold.
After spreading softly on a small patch of skin, it is then, taken off firmly and thoroughly.
The skin becomes supple and soft again.
 
Oriental Hands & Feet Care


Exfoliation

This care follows ancestral methods in their smallest details exfoliation.
The care begins with a soft peeling of the dead skin cells thanks to salt enriched with natural essences oils of your choice (amber, Lotus flower and Jasmine, Oriental elixir ...)

Nail Care

The hand is then dipped for a few minutes in a tepid mixture of water, the true Eucalyptus “savon noir” La Sultan de Saba and rose buds. The nourishing and emollient virtues of the “savon noir” have a effect on the skin and especially on the cuticles which can be removed more easily. The striae are less marked and the nails are filed.

Massage

Then both hands receive a deep massage using scented oil in order to stretch the muscles and relieve tension.

Mask

The honey, rose and ginger mask is applied a few minutes on the hands. It will soothe and moisturize the skin tissue. The result is immediately visible. Your hands regain softness and beauty.
   

Embalming Bride

This care is the bride’s body and mind preparation.
It is a real ceremony. It is comprises of complete face and body exfoliation, followed by a massage with warm amber and oriental sandal wood scented oils.

Within the warm steam of the hammam women are busy with the bride’s preparation, enjoying mint tea and confectionery such as turkish delight.
For the face we apply moistened gauzes with Syrian rose water which relaxes and gently scent the skin. After applying a few drops of “Brid’s Elixir” followed by rose and prickly pear oil or the “ Pharaons care “ which strenghtens the skin and prevents wrinkles . This care lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
